Peace In Times of Trouble

These are troubling times for many.  The Political World is in turmoil.  President Obama is leaving office and President Elect Donald Trump will be entering office shortly.  Many people I know and don’t know personally are troubled.  I mean they are seriously stressed and troubled by Donald Trump’s victory.  I say let God’s word be your guide and comfort.  1 Timothy 2:1-3 KJV, I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;  Pray for our world leaders all of them especially our President Elect Donald Trump.  Pray and don’t worry, just give it to God.

For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:30 KJV Click To Tweet

Personal struggles and hard times are a part of life.  The Word of God speaks of the seasons of life. We all have good times, fun times, hard times, mourning times and the list goes on.  If we trust in God we can make it through any season in life.  This I’m learning for myself; I’m learning that I must trust in God and not react so emotionally or quickly as I often do.  I am a very emotional person and it’s a characteristic I will get under control with the help of God.  Ecclesiastes 1:1-8 KJV, To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Allowing stress to take over and rule us isn’t wise or healthy, we must learn to trust in God and know that it’s all a part of life. We can come out of anything victorious, just trust and know whatever time or season you are currently in, men and women of God know that God has got you!  Remember in God’s Word Jesus said, Peace I leave with you… we have Peace all we have to do is believe and utilize it!

Be much Encouraged in the Lord and have Peace in Times of Trouble!
