Suffering is a part of life. Joy, happiness, strife, unrest and so much more are all a part of living. In my walk with God I’ve talked with a lot of people who seem to think that once you give your life to God suffering should come to an end or become minimal to say the least. The scripture however does not support this belief at all.
Suffering is defined as, the state of undergoing pain, distress, or hardship. Sinner or Saint we all go through seasons of life. Matthew 5:45, KJV …for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. Bad things happen to all because life happens. As a man or woman of God the word tells us how to behave during our suffering or tribulations. Romans 12:12 KJV, Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; Tribulations are not necessarily a punishment, sometimes we need to go through things in life to become what God has called us to be. It’s simply part of the preparation for a work or just a better you.
Sometimes we need to stay out of Gods business. Why do we need to know the purpose of everything that happens or occurs in our life? Maybe, we can’t handle the truth! Stay out of Gods business. Just because your suffering is great doesn’t mean you have this great calling on your life or a great ministry. Maybe you just need a lot of work, we all need a lot of work done on our hearts, minds and spirits to perform Gods will. Isaiah 64:6 KJV, But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags. We also have to make sure we are making good choices and decisions because life comes with its own tribulations but we can create tribulations for ourselves with poor choices and decisions as well.
No one wants to suffer. I’d rather suffer with God on my side. One of the main purposes of this blog is to share my life and tribulations with my readers. To share Gods keeping and delivering power. My desire is to please God, I don’t expect great rewards here on earth. My goal is eternal life. May God Bless and keep you all!
